The HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Regulations place stringent requirements on practitioners to protect the privacy of patients. Facilities may require the student to complete additional HIPAA training. Students should refer to the University’s HIPAA Compliance Office for further HIPAA guidelines. All students must complete training prior to beginning the program.
